According to the latest report from SPORT, Barcelona plans to recruit star winger Federico Chiesa . The Nou Camp team is targeting Chiesa in the context of failing in pursuing Nico Williams of Athletic Club.

Chiesa faces an uncertain future in the summer of 2024. The Italian international is no longer in coach Thiago Motta’s plans at Juventus. Chiesa needs to find a new destination before the 2024 summer transfer window closes.

 

In that context, Barcelona emerged as a potential destination for Chiesa. Coach Hansi Flick wanted to add and strengthen the attack when Raphinha and Ferran Torres did not meet expectations.

Federico Chiesa has one year left on his contract with Juventus. The Old Lady hopes to earn a significant amount of money from selling the 26-year-old star to avoid losing him for free next year.
