Barcelona is currently renovating and expanding the Camp Nou arena. While the renovations at Camp Nou are being done, the Blaugrana have provisionally selected the Olympic Lluis Companys as their home stadium as of May 2023.
Barcelona now intends to make a midseason comeback to Camp Nou in 2024–2025. The stadium won’t resemble the famous one that football fans are accustomed to seeing. Once finished, Camp Nou can accommodate up to 105,000 people.

However, the project will not be fully completed until August 2026. Barcelona aims to move to Camp Nou by the end of this year, when the stadium will reach more than 60% capacity.
The new stadium and grounds will be fitted with state-of-the-art technology, allowing fans to enjoy a whole new level of experience. Around £1.3bn has been invested in the stadium and surrounding area.

It will be the largest and most modern sports complex in the centre of a European city. The state-of-the-art Camp Nou stadium – sponsored by Spotify – will feature a number of new bars and VIP areas.
The stadium will also have the largest roof of any stadium in Europe, with new images showing three giant screens hanging over the pitch. The concourse and press facilities are also among the areas that will be modernised.
