Manchester City’s Jack Grealish has been linked with a shaky interest from Premier League rivals Chelsea, according to surprising reports published earlier this week.

The England international forward has had a mixed run of form and ιnjury luck this season, but he will be hoping to finish on a high by winning another Premier League and FA Cup title.

 

Grealish has faced increased competition for the left-sided wing role in Pep Guardiola’s front three, and in addition to his fitness issues, he has struggled to find the form required to maintain his place in the starting eleven.

However, as the former Aston Villa captain’s form and performances improve towards the end of the season, new reports have surfaced linking Chelsea with a transfer interest involving Manchester City.

Chelsea’s reported interest in Jack Grealish follows their successful pursuit of Cole Palmer from Manchester City at the end of the previous summer transfer window, a move that paid off for all parties involved.

 

However, transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has stated that “it is all quiet” regarding Jack Grealish and Chelsea’s interest this week, providing clarity and an update.

“I’m aware there have been some slightly surprising links with Jack Grealish,” Romano stated at his most recent briefing.

“However, I have no information on this; Manchester City are not discussing Grealish’s future, even internally, at this point in the season. It’s all quiet.

Despite his frustrations both on and off the field, as well as difficulties in his personal life, Grealish has made 35 appearances for the reigning Premier League champions.

Grealish, who has scored three goals and provided three assists, will see the final five games of the season as an opportunity to add to his already impressive trophy cabinet.

The Premier League title remаins firmly in Manchester City’s hands, and if they win their remaining four matches this season, Pep Guardiola’s side will become champions for the fourth consecutive season.
