While recovering from an ankle injury sustained during the Copa América, Lionel Messi took the opportunity to spend some quality time with his family in Miami. On Thursday night, cameras caught him on a special outing with his wife, Antonella Roccuzzo, to an exclusive restaurant.

 

 

 

As he does every time he goes out in public, the Argentine star has revolutionized the Italian dining scene. In the video that has gone viral on social media, Messi can be seen getting out of his car and handing over the parking keys.

 

 

He then walks around the car and walks alongside Antonela. As they pass by, the people of Rosario maintain their characteristic low-key attitude and welcome those who stop to look at them up close.

 

In the released images, you can also hear Antonela say “You can already smell the pasta,” referring to where they’ll be eating later, a fancy Italian restaurant located on Collins Avenue.
