According to Football Italia, striker Federico Chiesa has reached personal agreements during negotiations with Barca.

Federico Chiesa’s contract with Juventus only has 1 year left. The Italian striker is no longer in coach Thiago Motta’s plans.

Recently, Chiesa was removed from the Juventus first team. The striker born in 1997 is currently being given the opportunity by the black and white striped team to find a new destination.

Recently, Barca has been considered one of the potential destinations for Chiesa. The 26-year-old player’s representative has had meetings with the Catalan team.

Chiesa expressed his goodwill to join Barca in the final days of the 2024 summer transfer window. The Italian striker believes he can fully develop his abilities in the red and blue striped shirt.

Chiesa is keen on joining Barca.

 

According to Football Italia, Chiesa and Barca have agreed a preliminary agreement. Details of the agreement have not yet been disclosed.

Juventus are willing to let Chiesa leave for 10-15 million euros. However, Barca have yet to make an official offer to the Serie A representative.

Barca’s current difficulty lies in the fact that their salary budget currently exceeds La Liga regulations. After 2 rounds, the Catalan team still cannot register new player Dani Olmo.

Barca must now focus on selling players to meet wage requirements. Only then can they think about making an offer to Juventus for Chiesa.
