According to TEAMtalk, Jadon Sancho’s future at Old Trafford is uncertain , after being left out of the squad to play Brighton in the second round of the Premier League. Journalist Fabrizio Romano confirmed that Sancho is in talks to leave Man Utd.

Juventus are reportedly interested in the winger, but the report also highlights that Chelsea want to bring the England international to London.

Sterling earns huge wages at Chelsea.

 

The Blues are reportedly willing to swap Raheem Sterling for Sancho . Notably, Sterling is keen on a move to Old Trafford to start over.

However, Sterling’s salary is a big barrier . The English star is currently receiving a salary of 325,000 pounds/week. To have a new destination, he must accept a reduction in income.

According to the Daily Mail, Chelsea could owe Sterling £70 million in wages and bonuses as his contract runs for three more seasons. So, even if he moves to Old Trafford, Sterling could still receive regular payments from Chelsea.

Another solution is for Chelsea and Man Utd to agree on the difference in price for Sancho and Sterling. Only then can Chelsea completely get rid of Sterling.
