On social media, a clip of Lionel Messi driving through Miami’s neighborhoods and interacting with supporters has gone viral.

The Argentina star’s admirers have commended Messi for his humility in taking time out of his day to talk to people who mean the most to him.

Remarks on the video claim that Messi is discussing the recent youth competition the celebrity attended with the individuals filming it.

Just Messi chatting with some fans during a traffic stop. The main tweet accompanying the video reads, “He’s too humble, Messi does forget he is Messi sometimes.”

Similar sentiments were expressed in the comments, most of which praised Messi on his decision to play in the US.

Even though Whitecaps fans paid to see the Argentine play, many were disappointed that he chose to make that visit rather than play in Vancouver.
