On social media, a clip of Lionel Messi driving through Miami’s neighborhoods and interacting with supporters has gone viral.

The Argentina star’s admirers have commended Messi for his humility in taking time out of his day to talk to people who mean the most to him.

One Twitter commenter wrote, “Won’t see a more humble player again, I can’t even explain how kind his soul is… genuinely sees how much people love him and shows affection back.”

A Twitter user made the joke, “Need to learn Spanish and drive around Miami like this for a week.”

“My GOAT is living a happy free life with his family, friends, and fans,” tweeted one person.

Along with his family and supporters, “Goat” leads a contented life in Miami. There’s still someone in Camel League showing fans unrelated content. What a revelation, exclaimed someone else.

Another user wrote, “I love that he is so happy in Miami.”

While Messi was in Miami, he participated in a youth match at Chase Stadium in Fort Lauderdale with Luis Suarez.

Even though Whitecaps fans paid to see the Argentine play, many were disappointed that he chose to make that visit rather than play in Vancouver.
