Victor Osimhen rebelled, his name was removed from the registration list to attend Serie A, expanding the path to Al Nassr with Ronaldo

Napoli have removed Victor Osimhen from their Serie A squad and coach Antonio Conte has confirmed he is not considering bringing the striker back into the squad.

Victor Osimhen continues to struggle at Napoli

Napoli’s deal to sell Victor Osimhen fell through at the last minute. Despite receiving a strong offer from Al Ahli, the Nigerian player refused to go to Saudi Arabia. Chelsea had already withdrawn from the Osimhen deal and the striker born in 1998 had no choice but to stay at Napoli.

However, coach Antonio Conte has removed the Nigerian striker from the squad. In fact, this player did not even appear on the Serie A match registration list of the Naples team.

After the match against Parma, coach Antonio Conte confirmed that Osimhen has little chance of returning to Napoli. He said: ” As you know, Napoli’s transfer work has been stalled for certain reasons.

Coach Antonio Conte blocks Victor Osimhen's return to Napoli 1

Victor Osimhen is no longer in Napoli’s plans.

If we could sell Osimhen, the situation would be better. But what has happened cannot be changed and we will continue with the current squad. And any player who is removed from the list will not have the opportunity to return.

Any player who is not in Napoli’s plans will remain outside the team’s project. We have made our choices and now we all have to work in the same direction.”

The player Napoli brought in to replace Osimhen – Romelu Lukaku shone with a goal in his debut match. Two other new players of Napoli, McTominay and Gilmour did not play this match and coach Conte seemed quite worried.

” We don’t have any midfielders on the bench today, because yesterday Iaccarino and Saco were loaned out. We have to pray that nothing happens to Lobotka and Anguissa,” he said .

Lukaku has only had two training sessions with the team and Neres has just arrived at Napoli. On top of that, Napoli will be without McTominay and Gilmour until next week, which makes things even more difficult for Napoli.”
