Through 90 minutes, the Spanish player shared his thoughts on having to wait to officially join the Blaugrana squad.

After playing a key role in Spain’s victory at EURO 2024, midfielder Dani Olmo has moved to Barcelona from RB Leipzig.

The Catalan club spent 60 million euros to reunite with the former club talent. However, the unstable financial situation prevented them from registering Olmo immediately.

Olmo is having a pretty impressive start at Barca.

 

 

It was not until Ilkay Gundogan left and Andreas Christensen was confirmed to have a long-term injury that Barca were able to add the Spanish playmaker to the squad.

Olmo made his debut as a substitute in Barcelona’s 2-1 away win over Rayo Vallecano, and then made his mark again by scoring in Barca’s 7-0 win over Real Valladolid.

Asked by reporters whether he felt uncomfortable waiting for the release date, Olmo said:

” Personally I’m not upset because I know it will be resolved. I want to play, but it’s a dream debut and that’s what I’m thinking.”
