A noteworthy addition to Chelsea is Estevao Willian. When the young Brazilian star turns eighteen in 2025, he will formally join The Blues.

The 2007-born winger will not be permitted to sign with Chelsea until he turns 18 in April of the following year, under FIFA regulations. When the Blues sign Willian from Palmeiras, they view him as an investment for the future.

Chelsea approved an upfront payment of £29 million plus an additional £23 million, according to credible sources. This means Chelsea will need to pay £52 million in total for the Willian transaction.

Many observers rank the 17-year-old phenom as one of Brazil’s football’s finest prodigies. Willian is an example of a typical samba country winger. At the U-17 World Cup, the 17-year-old sensation performed at a Palmeiras level and made a lasting impression on the Brazil U-17 team shirt.

The Brazilian star will join Chelsea in 2025.

Dribbling ability is the outstanding strength of the 2007-born star. Willian captivates people with his excellent dribbling, with the ball seemingly stuck to his feet.

So where will Willian play when he joins Chelsea? Recently, agent Andre Cury revealed the 17-year-old star’s playing position in the Blues shirt. Sharing with UOL in Brazil, Cury said:

” Chelsea are looking at playing him as a number 10. For us, that’s important. He can develop further playing in a central position in Chelsea’s style of play.”

Willian has impressive technical qualities.

Statistically, Willian has made 27 appearances for the Palmeiras first team, scoring eight goals from the left wing. Willian has one cap for the Brazil national team and five caps for the Brazil U17 team.

Former Barcelona striker Neymar highly appreciated his junior: “He is a great talent emerging in Brazilian football. In my opinion, Willian will become an outstanding talent.”

Despite his outstanding talent, Willian will face fierce competition for places when he arrives at Stamford Bridge. The London team possesses a series of quality factors in midfield and attack.

Chelsea has a squad of outstanding young stars.

Another scenario that is very likely to happen is that Chelsea will send Willian out on loan to gain more experience playing at the top level. The Brazilian player needs to train his physical strength and muscle strength if he wants to ‘survive’ in the Premier League.

At 17, the Premier League promises to be a huge challenge for Willian. Chelsea need to have a proper, systematic plan to help Willian adapt and develop.
