While on vacation in Madrid, Cristiano Ronaldo was spotted with a fresh new appearance.
Ronaldo stepped out of his comfort zone by donning a pair of spectacles while he and his partner Georgina Rodriguez posed for a photo. He matched the shorts and top as well.

Real Madrid wanted the legendary player to join Manchester United, despite United’s larger offer
After Sir Alex Ferguson’s retirement over ten years ago, Manchester United have battled to regain their position as a top English and European football club. Nothing has improved, even after changing managers and signing highly regarded players (including Cristiano Ronaldo’s return). Maybe things would have turned out differently if they had gotten off to a better start under David Moyes. After receiving a higher offer from the Old Trafford club, one player nevertheless opted to join Real Madrid.
Gareth Bale is the player in question. During his time at Tottenham Hotspur, he was considered a world-class player.
In many respects, his 2013 transfer to Real Madrid was the turning point that finally ended the club’s La Decima drought that had lasted for more than a decade. Six times since then, they’ve been champions of the Champions League. For his part, Bale scored in two championship games and won five.
But if circumstances had been different, he may have ended up at Manchester United. In an interview with Simon Jordan on Up Front, Moyes reportedly told FourFourTwo:
“”While we had a helicopter ready to deliver our larger offer to Tottenham, the player was still intent on playing for Real Madrid.””
Real Madrid wanted the legendary player to join Manchester United, despite United’s larger offer.Nowadays, it’s easy to understand why a player would pick Real Madrid over Manchester United. On the other hand, things were different in 2013.
Because of their success in Europe and Premier League, Manchester United was the most famous club in the world. They had achieved one Champions League victory and reached the final two times in the preceding five seasons, losing both times to Pep Guardiola’s illustrious Barcelona.
Real Madrid, on the other hand, although fielding some of the greatest players in the world, had a history of inconsistent trophy success. Although the Galactico Era increased the club’s visibility, many overlook the fact that it was not the most fruitful period for the team’s performance on the field. Furthermore, the team only managed to win two trophies in Cristiano Ronaldo’s initial four seasons at Santiago Bernabeu.
Bale made a fantastic choice, looking back. Following Ferguson’s retirement, Manchester United fell into a precipitous decline, whereas Real Madrid have maintained an unbroken winning streak ever since. What would have happened if the Welshman had instead joined Manchester United at Old Trafford that summer instead of Real Madrid at Santiago Bernabeu?
