It is already common knowledge that FC Barcelona intends to bring in a new defensive midfielder in addition to a left winger as the summer season draws to a close.
It has become clear that Joshua Kimmich of Bayern Munich and Nico Williams of Athletic Club are the most desirable players to acquire for the positions of midfielder and winger, respectively.
At the same time, however, Barcelona is keeping an eye out for other possibilities, and one of those possibilities is Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, who is an outstanding candidate for Napoli.
The Georgian winger is highly regarded at Barcelona, and despite the fact that there have been no reports of a transfer for him due to the high cost of his services and the interest shown by Paris Saint-Germain in him, sources close to the club indicate that Kvaratskhelia is still on the Blaugrana’s radar.

On the other hand, Badri, the father of the Georgian international, has publicly stated that he desires for his son to leave the club and play for a team that is more established.
According to Fabrizio Romano, he stated, “I do not want Khvicha to remain in Napoli during his time there.”
The fact that he worked with four different instructors in a single year is something that causes me a great deal of concern. He will make his own decision, despite the fact that it is somewhat unsettling for me.

Confirming that he intends to speak to his son about the matter soon, Badri Kvaratskhelia remarked:
“I haven’t talked to Khvicha about this topic, I’m not going to until the end of the Euro 2024.”
Recent reports from Italy had suggested that Kvaratskhelia was headed towards agreeing a new contract with Napoli. But the developments of the past few hours have left the door open for a departure.
Whether Barcelona decide to try and move for him or
