Yassine Chueko – Lionel Messi’s bodyguard – has shown off his insanely ripped body on Instagram, as the ex-Navy SEAL prepares himself to protect the Inter Miami star again this MLS season after going viral for skills last year.
The trained MMA fighter, who was personally chosen by Inter Miami president David Beckham upon the eight-time Ballon d’Or winner’s arrival in the US last summer, has received much attention from the media over the previous months.
He was seen with Messi when the Argentina star was publicly relaxing with his wife Antonella Roccuzzo in South Florida in October of last year.
But, a couple of weeks before that, he prevented a young fan from getting Messi’s autograph after a defeat to Cincinnati. Chueko stopped the young boy, who made his way onto the pitch, put his arm around him and led him over to Messi, who posed for a photograph and signed an autograph.
The, for Halloween, Inter Miami forward Robert Taylor hilariously dressed up as the bodyguard, completing his costume with fake muscles and a bald cap.

Yassine was also seen posing for a snap with Messi on a private jet returning to Miami from Paris after the 36-year-old, Argentine had won his record, eighth Ballon d’Or.
In November, Yassine made headlines again when fans were baffled by a video of him suddenly appearing out of nowhere and behind Messi, while Miami’s No. 10 was greeting children who wanted to take a picture with him.
Recently, Yassine was spotted shielding Messi upon his return in pre-season for the Herons in a game against El Salvador in Jan. after the three-time Champions League winner sustained an adductors injury.
On Instagram, Yassine boasts a following of 302,000 followers, but Messi isn’t among them.
He regularly posts videos of himself sparring and even once met former MMA artist Khabib Nurmagomedov.
