Ronaldo and Al Nassr wants Pepe who is Leaving FC Porto this season

According to the newspaper “A Bola”, ex-Real Madrid defender decides to leave at the end of his contract and is wanted by teams in Brazil, Qatar and Turkey

 

 

 

 

 

 

At 41 years old, defender Pepe decided to leave Porto after six seasons in Portugal. The former Real Madrid player will not have his contract renewed and is free to sign with a new club from July onwards. According to the newspaper “A Bola”, he has an offer from Al-Nassr, Cristiano Ronaldo’s club in Saudi Arabia.

Despite his advanced age, the Brazilian naturalized Portuguese decided to compete for another season. However, Porto, which has former coach André Villas-Boas as its newly elected president , intends to renew the squad and has opted for Pepe to leave.

According to the publication, the player is attracting interest from clubs in Brazil, Qatar and Turkey and is evaluating possibilities. Pepe played in the youth teams at Corinthians-AL, but moved to Marítimo, in Portugal, in 2001, where he became a professional.

 

In 2004, he signed his first contract with Porto. Three years later he went to play for Real Madrid, where he played for 10 seasons and won, in addition to other titles, three Champions Leagues. Between 2017 and 2018 he played for Besiktas, in Türkiye, until returning to Porto.
