The world’s highest-paid athlete is clearly enjoying his vast wealth. On Tuesday, UFC star Conor McGregor, who earned $180 million last year, unveiled a new extravagant purchase—a $3.6 million Tecnomar for Lamborghini 63 speed boat.
“My Lamborghini yacht is ready,” the 33-year-old McGregor announced in an Instagram post while recovering from the gruesome leg injury he suffered in his third fight with Dustin Poirier at UFC 264 on July 10.
Known as the “Supercar of the Sea,” the Lamborghini 63 is (as its name implies) 63-feet long, and powered by twin MAN V12 engines, each capable of producing 2000hp. With that kind of power, the 24-ton vessel can reach a speed of 60 knots, making it one of the fastest boats in its class.

In addition to the boat’s performance, the exterior embodies the Lamborghini DNA. The verde gea green hull is the same color as the Lamborghini Sian, and the carbon-fiber superstructure (to keep the weight down) features angular windows that evoke Lambo’s famous hexagons. The cockpit is also a nautical interpretation of two Lamborghini models, with leather pilot seats from the Huracán Evo and a helm modeled on the Aventador steering wheel.

The collaboration between Tecnomar and Lamborghini was announced in June 2020, with only 63 boats going into production, commemorating Lamborghini’s founding in 1963. According to TMZ, McGregor placed the order in October at Tecnomar headquarters in Italy and received yacht number 12 in honor of his Irish whiskey company, Proper No. Twelve, which he founded in 2018 and sold in April for $150 million.
“I am honored to secure the Number 12 edition of just 63 to be made,” McGregor said in an Instagram post last fall.

The boat is just the latest addition to McGregor’s luxury toy collection. On his Instagram page, he notoriously shows off his Lamborghini Aventador Roadster and his Urus. He also has flaunted his McLaren 650S, Rolls-Royce Ghost, Rolls-Royce Phantom Drophead Coupe, Bentley Continental GT, and BMW i8. The MMA icon also owns a more modest Land Rover Range Rover and Land Rover Discovery to help get his kids to school and back.
For now though, McGregor may have to wait a while to enjoy his Lamborghini 63. He recently underwent surgery to repair his fractured tibia and fibula and is expected to need at least six weeks to get that sea leg back.
