The two halves of the Clasico were contrasting scenarios. The first half was a tense tug-of-war between Real Madrid and Barcelona .

Both teams played at the highest level. Many opportunities were created, with the home team Real Madrid dominating. In the 30th minute, Mbappe even put the ball in the net after breaking away and skillfully chipping the ball past goalkeeper Pena.

However, the French star was denied a goal in his first Clasico of his career due to offside.

In the second half, Real Madrid lost their composure. Meanwhile, coach Hansi Flick’s tactical adjustments helped Barcelona have a jubilant match.

The first turning point came in the 54th minute with the opening goal for the visitors. From Casado’s through ball, Lewandowski broke the offside trap and finished to score while facing goalkeeper Lunin.

Just 2 minutes later, the Polish striker had a double. This time, he moved between two Real defenders and headed the ball diagonally to increase the score to 2-0.

Barcelona played with more and more excitement. Meanwhile, Real Madrid were confused despite having many chances. Mbappe was the most wasteful player on the home team’s side. In the 64th minute, he had a chance to face but his shot was too weak and was blocked by goalkeeper Pena.

In the 77th minute, Lamine Yamal increased the score to 3-0 with a powerful right-footed shot from inside the penalty area. Real Madrid’s nightmare did not end when Raphina delicately lobbed the ball to seal a 4-0 victory for Barcelona in the 84th minute.

With a resounding victory, Barcelona firmly established their top position in La Liga with 30 points, 6 points more than Real.
