CASEMIRO did not hold back at Alejandro Garnacho during Man Utd’s bore draw with Chelsea.
The Red Devils were in action at Old Trafford against the Blues in what ended up being a game void of quality.
Casemiro was fuming after having to cop a booking late on
Casemiro let rip at Alejandro Garnacho for giving the ball away and not tracking back
The Brazilian was quick to call out his team-mate
However, there was talking point that got fans talking – and it involved United’s South American pair.
Cameras caught Brazilian Casemiro screaming at Argentinian winger Garnacho.
The reason for the midfielder’s reaction was very clear.
Former Real Madrid man Casemiro copped a booking for a late tackle, which he believed was Garnacho’s fault.
Fans online speculated that it was because he was furious that Garnacho gave the ball away.
He gave the ball away in the Chelsea half after failing to play Noussair Mazraoui through on the left.
Garnacho didn’t even try to cover for the full-back, not showing enough energy in tracking back and that left Casemiro to make a foul and get booked.
The experienced midfielder was seen shouting at Garnacho for not doing his job properly and forcing him to get a yellow card.
Worse still, he did not track back which frustrated his team-mate.
One wrote: “Casemiro has every right to shout at Garnacho there because that was absolutely f—k– pathetic!
A second posted: “Casemiro rightfully shouting at Garnacho for giving away the ball & not tracking the ball.
A third added: “Casemiro just gave Garnacho a real bollocking after chasing back to stop a Chelsea counter after the youngster had given the ball away.
A fourth shared: “Garnacho deserve that rage scream from Casemiro. He wasted too much chance tonigt and not tracking back, that’s unacceptable attitude.
While a fifth was of the opinion: “I hope Casemiro slaps Garnacho in the changing rooms after this match.”
The Red Devils had a frustrating day as they failed to get three points against the Blues to match their 5-2 Carabao Cup success over Leicester City in the middle of the week.
Bruno Fernandes’ penalty in the 70th minute appeared to have given United a victory after a lackluster first half.
However, Moises Caicedo’s volley past Andre Onana just four minutes later put them behind.
After gaining a point, United moved up to 13th place in the league.
