‘MAIN TARGET’: Arsenal remain keen to sign £62m ‘one of the best in the world’

According to transfer guru Mike Brown, Arsenal are seriously considering signing Alexander Isak, a star for Newcastle United.

The Swedish international joined the Magpies from Real Sociedad in 2022 and had a promising first season in the Premier League before having a spectacular second. With 30 games played in the league, he scored 21 goals and added 2 assists.

Though he got off to a sluggish start this season, Isak has scored four goals across all competitions, with each of those goals coming against clubs ranked in the top six. Plus, last weekend in the Premier League, he scored the game-winning goal against Arsenal.

According to reports, Viktor Gyokeres, Victor Osimhen, and Benjamin Sesko were among several strikers linked to Arsenal during the summer transfer window. It was also reported that they had Isak on their radar.

Arsenal to sign IsakAccording to the source familiar with the matter, Isak is considered to be among the finest attackers globally, making him an invaluable addition to any elite squad. If the forward departs the Tyneside club at the end of the current season, Arsenal will be prepared to make a move to acquire him in order to strengthen their offensive lineup.

Alexander Isak makes final decision on Arsenal transfer

Oh, I’ve heard that Arsenal is still considering Isak. I consider him to be on par with the greatest, if not better, and I believe he could contribute to any squad.

The 25-year-old has three and a half years remaining on his current deal and is valued at approximately £62 million by Transfermarkt. If the Magpies choose to let their great player leave next year, they will likely seek a hefty compensation.

Isak is a multi-role player because he can also play on the left wing or as a center forward. He is a veteran of the Premier League, so when he does sign with the Gunners at season’s end, he should settle in quickly.
