Bayern Munich have recently offered Alphonso Davies a contract extension with significantly improved terms, but have yet to receive a response. Bayern coach Vincent Kompany is keen to keep Davies, who is considered one of the best left-backs in the world.

However, negotiations could collapse later this year if Davies does not accept a new offer from Bayern Munich. Despite interest from both Barcelona and Man United , Davies is believed to have decided to choose Real Madrid, despite his good relationship with coach Hansi Flick and attractive offers from the Premier League .
