RUBEN AMORIM was seen yelling at his Manchester United players as they came very close to losing to Ipswich.
.
Once Amorim took over as manager of Manchester United, things got off to a great start when Marcus Rashford scored in just 81 seconds.
Ipswich, on the other hand, took back control of the game and beat United for the rest of it.
During the first half, Andre Onana made two saves against Liam Delap. But he couldn’t stop Omari Hutchinson’s long-range shot, which went into the top corner after deflecting off of Noussair Mazraoui.
After leaving Sporting Lisbon, Amorim has not won a league game for the first time this season after the 1-1 tie.
However, he was spotted shouting with his players from the sidelines for failing to push the opposing team at one point during the game.
When fans saw a photo of Amorim looking irate on the bench, they joked that the team might have already broken him.
One supporter remarked, “I’m already sick of Manchester United.”
“They’ve already broken him,” another person remarked.
Another person remarked, “This guy is exhausted after just one game.” Are you a new EPL player?
“Amorim already looks tired of how bad we are,” commented someone else.
.
Owen Hargreaves, a cult hero for Manchester United, could also feel how frustrated he was.
“He was right in front of me, and I’m not going to lie, he was really mad,” he said.
“He didn’t like where Dalot was placed in the first half.” Zirkzee was also a little annoyed by where he was placed in the second half.
“Many of these players won’t be playing in three, four, or five weeks time.”
Before he took charge of his first game, Amorim said he was shocked by how big the job at Manchester United was.
In his first interview with Sky Sports after the game, Amorim said that he had talked to the media more in his first week than in all four years he spent at Sporting.
He said this about how the team did against Ipswich: “You could tell my players were thinking too much during the game.”
“They’re not only thinking about the ball, but also where they should be, which is tough since they’ve only trained together twice.”
“After going up 1-0, we needed to be more physical in the first half. We had to feel out the other team, but it was a tough game.”
“We didn’t get pressed when we dropped a few balls. You have to maintain possession of the ball and the game’s tempo once you score the first goal in that type of match. We are unable to accomplish that at this time.
“However, they made an effort.” They made a great effort. Some individuals struggle to grasp, but they desire this and are making a lot of effort.
Amorim’s first away game ended in a tie at Portman Road. He will play his first Europa League match against Bodo/Glimt at Old Trafford on Thursday.
He will then take on Everton at home in his first Premier League match the following Sunday.
