The well-known Croatian football player and team captain, Luka Modrić, has once again demonstrated his compassion and heart. Ivan Šćepina, a young football player recuperating in Krapinske Toplice, was thrilled with something Modrić done recently.

In order for Ivan to snap pictures with his 2018 Ballon d’Or and use it as motivation to continue his recuperation, Modrić sent it to him. Luka presented Ivan with the Ballon d’Or and a signed football shirt. As you can see from the photos that Ivan’s father, Darijo, posted, the act brought great joy to everyone.

Ivan plays for NK Kurilovec and is a talented player. His life was altered by a severe fall he suffered earlier this year. Despite the challenges, Ivan has shown great courage and perseverance in his recovery. In addition to brightening his day, Ivan’s considerate action provided him hope as he strives to strengthen his body for physical therapy and robotic neurorehabilitation.

Ivan’s grit and resolve will undoubtedly aid in his recovery with ongoing assistance and deeds like Modrić’s. Luka Modrić has once again demonstrated that his influence extends well beyond football with this performance, inspiring and uplifting people.
