The goal took football’s all-time top scorer to four goals in this season’s competition, before he was substituted 10 minutes later.

With the win, Al-Nassr continue their unbeaten record in their first five matches in the Western side of the competition, and move up to second in the 12-team table.

His impressive scoring performance and ability to create classy moments have helped him become a monument in world football.

Thereby, in the 23rd season of his career, Ronaldo marked a special turning point with an average performance of 0.84 goals per match, he continued to surpass Messi’s record.

With the two goals just scored, Ronaldo officially broke the record of the Argentine superstar and became the only player to score more than 40 goals in 13 different years. Previously, this record was held by Messi when he scored 40 goals or more in 12 consecutive years.

The victory comes after Cristiano Ronaldo was left livid on Saturday, as Al-Nassr lost 2-1 at home to Al-Qadsiahfell and fell six points behind Al-Hilal in the Saudi Pro League title race.
