Similar to other luxury car brands, Maserati also has its own high-end customization program called Fuoriserie and the latest customer to come to this branch is David Beckham – the talented English midfielder with the car chosen to be personalized is the MC20 supercar.
“I have always been a car enthusiast and designing my own MC20 through the Fuoriserie customization program is a great experience”, he shared, “every small detail on each car model such as design, color or interior decoration reflects the user’s personality”.
The inspiration for David Beckham to customize the Maserati MC20 is the football club he founded in the US, Inter Miami FC, with the main color scheme of the Italian supercar chosen being pink and black, reflecting the team’s uniform. The contrasting paintwork is decorated with interwoven matte and glossy surfaces, also a detail inspired by the American team’s uniform.
The majority of Beckham’s Maserati MC20 is gloss black, while the trident logo on the grille and C-pillar and the Maserati lettering on the rear end are in matte black. The Brembo brakes are found on the alloy wheels.
The Maserati MC20’s interior also has pink stitching against a black motif on the leather and Alcantara upholstery. The headrests are embroidered with a 3D depth pattern, and the Alcantara backrests are laser-etched. Beneath the pink Maserati Fuoriserie writing is a bespoke nameplate with a matte-gloss finish that is intertwined with the metal “For David” inscription between the two front seats.
The Maserati MC20 is priced at $430,000, but fully customized cars can easily double that figure.
