Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal are quite optimistic about securing the services of Juventus attacking midfielder Dusan Vlahovic

Arsenal, led by Mikel Arteta, has high hopes of signing Juventus’ sensational attacker Dusan Vlahovic.Arsenal hopes to sign Juventus striker Dusan Vlahovic for a discounted price next summer, according to a report from CaughtOffside. The Serbian international’s negotiations to extend his contract with the Turin-based team are not going well, and should he fail to reach an agreement, the Gunners may be able to sign him for a relatively cheap price.

Vlahovic became well-known while he was a Fiorentina player. He moved to Juventus in 2022 as a result of his remarkable rise and enormous potential. Over the years, he has served the Old Lady fairly well. After participating in 111 games, the 24-year-old has helped score 58 goals (48 goals, 10 assists).

With seven goals and an assist in ten games so far this season, he has had an outstanding start. Even though he is still an important member of Juventus’ starting lineup, his future there doesn’t appear to be assured. The Turin-based team wants to lock down the Serbian star’s long-term future by reaching an agreement on a new contract, which is set to expire in the summer of 2026.

However, the two teams’ negotiations haven’t gone as planned thus far, and if he doesn’t sign a new deal before the end of the current campaign, things might get problematic the following summer. Due to their long-standing interest in Vlahovic, Arsenal is the team that is closely monitoring his contract status.

Arsenal might acquire Vlahovic.Last summer, the Gunners sought to sign a new number nine. Their primary goal was Benjamin Sesko, but things didn’t go as planned. They are still looking for a new striker because Gabriel Jesus has had injury problems and hasn’t performed up to par.

Although Kai Havertz has been starting, his greatest position isn’t as a striker. An all-around goal scorer is what Arteta’s club needs to compete with the top teams in Europe. Vlahovic is one of the top young strikers in the world and is included on their shortlist.

It seems likely that he will be available next summer for a very low price. The Serie A team will be under pressure to sell him for at least €60 million, if not less, if he reaches the last 12 months of his contract there. Although Vlahovic is not the top choice, Arsenal might be forced to take advantage of his circumstances at Juventus if a good deal were to come up.
