But, with retirement looming on the 31-year-old, Mane is ready to put his £650,000 weekly wage to good use.

Additionally, according to La Journal Du Centre, the Senegalese winger is prepared to purchase Bourges Foot 18, a Championnat National 2 club.

Mane and Cheikh Sylla, the president of Bourges Foot, are rumored to have had their first conversations two years ago, when the club was founded.

They have endured a tough start to the term and currently sit 13th in Group B of the Championnat National 2.

But things could soon look up under Mane’s ownership.

Mane spent six years at the Reds after arriving from Southampton in 2016 and scored 120 goals in 269 appearances under Jurgen Klopp.

With Liverpool, he took home six major titles, including the Premier League and Champions League.

In 2022, the outstanding Senegalese player joined Bayern Munich, although he struggled to fit in with the Bundesliga’s top side.

The 31-year-old was fined £436,000 for allegedly striking teammate Leroy Sane in the locker room during the Champions League defeat to Manchester City.

Mane then decided to relocate to the Gulf state in the summer to play football with Al-Nassr alongside the legendary star Ronaldo.

He has scored eight goals in eighteen outings for the Riyadh-based club since then.
