JOSE MOURINHO aggressively dragged his assistant manager away from Fenerbahce’s wild goal celebrations in their clash with Gaziantep.
The Super Lig giants ran out 3-1 winners thanks to late goals from Rodrigo Becao and Edin Dzeko.
Rodrigo Becao’s late strike sparked wild scenes among Fenerbache players and coaching staff
Manager Jose Mourinho had to drag his assistant coach out of the pile of celebrating players
‘The Special One’ yanked Zeki Murat Gol by his hood to lead him away from the celebrations
Mourinho wanted his assistant to give instructions to substitute Mert Mulder
Mourinho’s troops were on course to drop points before Becao edged them in front with just 12 minutes to go.
Becao’s strike sparked wild scenes with players, substitutes and coaches bundling together in a massive touchline huddle.
Mourinho, however, wasn’t having any of it and immediately went into preservation mode.
To help his team win the three points, the Special One intended to make a defensive replacement.
To help stabilize the situation, the former manager of Chelsea, Manchester United, and Real Madrid sought to hire Mert Mulder.
Although he was among the people rejoicing at Becao’s goal, Mourinho wanted assistant Zeki Murat Gole to deliver the defense his instructions.
Mourinho then pulled the coach back to the dugout by his hoody as a result.
Mourinho’s antics spread like wildfire on social media, with one footie fan commenting: “‘Come here, do your job, damn you.'”
Another said: “The biggest madman among us.”
And another said: “Our coach is very different, I swear.”
One remarked: “Look at what he did to the man.”
Another chimed in: “Look at Jose Mourinho.
“He pulled Zeki Murat Göle from his hat and said, ‘Explain the tactics to Mert Mulder.'”
Fenerbahce maintained their second-place position in the Super Lig league and reduced the distance between themselves and table-toppers Galatasaray to three points with their victory against Gaziantep.
On Saturday night, Mourinho’s team will return to action when they travel via Istanbul to play Besiktas, their local rivals.
