Liverpool were not far behind in their response, with Mac Allister hitting the post from mid-range. Minutes later, Mac Allister had another chance with a powerful volley into the bottom right corner, but Newcastle goalkeeper Nick Pope made a superb save.

Although both teams played fiercely and created many opportunities, it was not until the 35th minute that the home team opened the scoring. From Bruno Guimaraes’ precise pass, Alexander Isak had a beautiful shot into the top corner to put Newcastle ahead 1-0.

In the second half, Liverpool quickly put pressure on Newcastle’s goal and got the equalizer in the 50th minute. Mohamed Salah made a great pass to Curtis Jones, and this player did not miss the opportunity to score into the top right corner of the goal.

However, Newcastle did not let Liverpool rest easy. In the 62nd minute, Anthony Gordon scored to put the home team in the lead again. But just 6 minutes later, Mohamed Salah continued his excellent performance when he equalized for Liverpool.

The drama did not stop there. In the 82nd minute, Salah had a good combination with his teammates, and he was the one who scored to help Liverpool take a 3-2 lead. However, the away team’s advantage did not last long. In the 90th minute, Fabian Schar scored the equalizer for Newcastle, ending the match with a score of 3-3.

This result caused Liverpool to miss the opportunity to increase the gap with the chasing teams, currently with 35 points and continuing to lead the rankings. Meanwhile, Newcastle temporarily climbed to 10th place with 20 points.
