RED JOKER: Man City fans are furious with Man Utd striker Joshua Zirkzee after seeing what he did after full time

Manchester City fans are outraged with Joshua Zirkzee after spotting what he did immediately after Manchester United’s stunning 2-1 win at the Etihad stadium.

After two rapid goals from Bruno Fernandes and Amad Diallo, United dealt another blow to local rivals City’s Premier League title defence with a stunning 2-1 win on Sunday afternoon.

Following the upset result, United players and fans were ecstatic while City couldn’t quite believe what had happened after they appeared to be coasting to a 1-0 victory.

However, one player in particular has struck a nerve with City fans after they spotted what he did as soon as the full-time whistle was blown.

Summer signing Zirkzee came on as a substitute in the 78th minute of the match as the scoreline still sitting at 1-0 to to the hosts.

But just 12 minutes later he found himself celebrating with his teammates as youngster Diallo netted an injury time winner to seal United’s comeback.

And immediately after the end of the match, a video shows the Dutchman running over to City supporters to taunt them about their side throwing away the win.

Reacting to the clip on social media, one United fan wrote: “Zirkzee, I love you so much for this!”

Another agreed, writing: “Hahahhahah what s***housery, love that.”

While one claimed that they wanted to see more of this kind of behaviour from United players, adding: “This is what we need to see. Proper Derby mentality. Up the reds.”

Zirkzee himself took to social media shortly after the match to further gloat to City fans and celebrate the victory.

Posting about the win on his Instagram account, Zirkzee wrote: “Paint the town red like Doja said.”

Since joining United from Bologna in the summer for £34 million, Zirkzee has struggled to make an impact or establish himself as a regular starter at the club.

In 23 games for his current team, the 23-year-old has three goals and two assists.

His poor record has led to speculation that the Dutchman is seeking to leave United, but given his joy following Sunday’s triumph, that looks improbable.
