“No, I don’t think it’s negative at all. He’s playing really well,” Slot told Sky Sports when asked whether Alexander-Arnold’s situation was more concerning than those of Salah and Van Dijk.

“He scored a great goal, and the way he celebrated probably tells you enough,” Slot said. “I don’t think I need to say much more. I’m really happy with Trent, just as happy as I am with Mo and Virgil.

“For me, there’s no difference. For the outside world, maybe there’s a bit more happening around Trent in the media than with the other two, but I’m happy with all three at the moment.”
