Guehi, who nearly joined Newcastle last summer, has just 18 months left on his Selhurst Park contract, and Palace is preparing for bids in the January window.

While Newcastle remains interested in Guehi to bolster their defense, Nixon claims the England international prefers Liverpool. The Reds, who admire the Abidjan-born center-back, could be his next destination.

Meanwhile, TBR Football reports Chelsea is interested in re-signing Guehi, who began his career in their academy in 2007 at just seven years old.
