Liverpool stars Mohamed Salah and Trent Alexander-Arnold have been nominated for the Premier League Player of the Month award for December.

Both players played pivotal roles in helping the Reds secure four victories and two draws during a busy month. Salah was in electrifying form, contributing to 14 goals — the highest tally in a single month since Luis Suárez in December 2013. The Egyptian scored seven times and provided seven assists, proving instrumental in Liverpool’s surge to retain their spot at the league’s summit.

Trent Alexander-Arnold also shone, scoring once and providing three assists while contributing to a clean sheet. The right-back created 16 chances, the most by any Premier League defender in December, further showcasing his influence.

The Liverpool duo are up against Morgan Gibbs-White, Dean Huijsen, Alexander Isak, Jacob Murphy, Cole Palmer, and Antonee Robinson for the award, highlighting the competition for recognition after an exciting month of football.
