Liverpool and Manchester United played out one of the most entertaining games of the Premier League season as they played out a 2-2 draw at Anfield.

After a goalless first half, the game sprung to life after the interval as Lisandro Martinez gave the Red Devils a shock lead with a fantastic finish.

However, Liverpool responded through Cody Gakpo and Mohamed Salah to turn the tide in their favour before Amad Diallo scored against the Reds once again to give his side a much-needed point.

The game had several talking points, but Pat Nevin singled out Darwin Nunez for criticism after what he did at Anfield.

Liverpool started with an attacking trio of Luis Diaz, Gakpo and Salah, with the Colombian international leading the line once again.

However, as the game went on, Arne Slot decided to make a few changes as he brought on Diogo Jota and Darwin Nunez in the second half.

Nunez once again failed to find the back of the net and was involved in a passage of play that could’ve cost Liverpool dearly.

He tripped Matthijs de Ligt cynically and earned himself a deserved yellow card for his actions.
