Andriy Lunin—6: Barely touched the ball in the first half and saw virtually no action outside of a long-distance attempt when the Ukrainian was off his line.

Lorenzo Aguado—8: Fantastic performance from the 22-year-old right back. Dribbled out of pressure when appropriate, selected the right times to overlap and underlap, and kept it simple and clean with his passing. Showed the motor to get up and down the right flank and the speed to beat players off the dribble. Missed a golden opportunity to score with his left foot at the end of the first half after being teed up by Endrick.

Raul Asencio—8: Played with a composure and seriousness; feels as though he has been in the first team for years. Another strong display.

Diego Aguado—6: Had some nervy moments on the ball, expected for the 17-year-old debutant, but overall played well and showcased his passing range with his left foot. Not afraid to be aggressive and step out of the backline, though not yet physically mature enough to successfully follow through on all his attempted tackles.

Fran Garcia—8: Galloped up and down the left wing and produced an assist for Camavinga with a precision cross. Notched another assist in the final minutes of the match with a cut-back to Arda Guler.

Camavinga—7: After missing a good opportunity inside the box, he capitalized on a rebound following a cross from Fran Garcia — towering over the defender to score a headed goal.

Valverde—7: Scored a brilliant volley inside the box within the opening five minutes to give Madrid the lead.

Luka Modric—8: Kept the team ticking with through balls, cross-field switches, and quick interplay. Was simply a class above. In the second half, he and Brahim enjoyed a field day, constantly combining with quick one-two passes. One of those combinations led to the fourth goal scored by Modric.

Brahim—7: Played down the left wing and combined with Modric and Fran Garcia with ease. Occasionally took an extra dribble or overcomplicated sequences of play. Looked eager to get a goal, taking numerous shots and hitting the post. Registered an assist on the fourth goal after some good interplay with Modric inside the box.

Arda Guler—8: Within the opening two minutes, he was played through on goal but missed his one-on-one opportunity. Showed the ability to cut inside at will and frequently lined up shots. Scored with one attempt before the 30-minute mark to make it 3-0. Played the final 30 minutes of the match in midfield, where he scored his second to make it 5-0.

Endrick—5: Like a bull in a china shop, he never stopped running and working on both sides of the ball. Some of his touches and flicks were rusty, but he carved out a few good opportunities for himself through individual play. However, the final ball and shot were lacking — he looked anxious in the final third.

Substitutions:

Dani Ceballos—7: Played a superb vertical pass to Brahim, breaking the entire defensive line and leaving him one-on-one with the goalkeeper, but Brahim failed to convert.

Kylian Mbappe—5.5: After a good run of form and improved confidence in December, he seems to have regressed in his last two performances. Did put together one solo run late in the game that nearly led to a goal.

Chema—6: Played in the pivot role and kept things simple with the game already won.

Vinicius Junior—6: Played one well-timed pass to Mbappe, freeing the Frenchman in on goal.

Lucas Vazquez—6: Replaced Lorenzo at right back and delivered several crosses during his 30 minutes on the pitch.
