WANTAWAY Marcus Rashford, a Manchester United player, was spotted grinning while having lunch with a pal.
Only a day after sitting on the bench during his team’s 2-0 loss to Newcastle, the England forward was seen eating at the classy Cibo Restaurant in Hale Village.
Rashford was beaming as he and teammate Tyrell Malacia went out to eat. Malacia also stayed on the bench at Old Trafford, and he was not used as a substitute in the previous night’s loss to Newcastle.
After missing the 2-1 derby triumph against Manchester City, Rashford was included in Ruben Amorim’s match-day squad for the first time in five games. He did not play, though, as United lost for the fourth time in a row ahead of their next games against Liverpool and Arsenal, their sixth loss in 11 games under Amorim.
Personally, I believe I’m prepared for a new challenge and the following steps,” he said. There will be “no hard feelings” when I depart. I will not say anything bad about Manchester United to you. That is simply who I am.
Due to his remarks on a possible transfer departure, Rashford has not been included in the previous four matchday squads, and his future is still up in the air.
