Solly March, a midfielder for Brighton, was fortunate to escape a potential red card in the closing minutes of the match against Manchester United.
Alejandro Garnacho and the midfielder got into a somewhat heated altercation in the last few minutes of extra time.
March even attempted to frighten the Argentine winger by putting his hand around his neck at one point.
However, referee Peter Banks was unable to recognize this and allowed March to leave the game unpunished.
This simply serves to highlight how bad the game’s officiating was, even though Brighton was ahead 3-1 at the time.
