He was initially hit with a four-year suspension last February after testing positive for the banned substance DHEA but had the term reduced after an appeal.
Breaking his silence in October, Pogba insisted that he is not a cheater and revealed his intention to return to the pitch.
However, his Juventus contract was subsequently terminated and he now finds himself without a club.
The midfielder has since been tipped for a return to the Premier League.
And he fuelled speculation about a third stint at Man Utd with a cryptic Instagram post.
The Frenchman first shared a cartoon drawing of himself standing next to United superstar Amad Diallo in a Red Devils kit.
That post was followed by a photo of him looking out of a window from what appears to be Miami, with a caption that read: “Let’s see what’s coming…”
Pogba was reportedly sounded out over a potential move to Manchester City last year.

However, he was said to be reluctant to join his former team’s biggest rival.
Ex-Arsenal stars Emmanuel Petit and Bacary Sagna have also urged their former club to sign him.
But he would allegedly prefer a move to La Liga, Serie A or the Bundesliga.
Pogba made 233 appearances for Man Utd across two spells at the club.
He left Old Trafford in 2022 as a free agent and returned to Juventus, where he was hampered by injuries.
