Defeating Mallorca with a score of 3-0, Real Madrid entered the Spanish Super Cup final against arch-rival Barca.
This morning (January 10), Real Madrid faced Mallorca in the second semi-final of the Spanish Super Cup. Against a much weaker opponent, coach Ancelotti did not make many changes to the starting lineup compared to the last match of the White Vultures.
With a better squad, Real Madrid easily controlled the match and put great pressure on Mallorca’s field. However, facing Mallorca’s tight counter-attacking style, Los Blancos could not score in the first half.

In the 63rd minute, Bellingham took advantage of the chaos in the penalty area to score the opening goal after consecutive shots from Rodrygo and Mbappe were blocked.
The opening goal made it easier for Real Madrid as Mallorca had to push up their formation to find an equalizer. In the 90+2 minute, Valjent scored an own goal after a pass from Brahim Diaz. Not stopping there, in the 90+5 minute, Rodrygo sealed the score 3-0 for Real Madrid after accurately tapping the ball into the net from Vazquez’s cross.
