NEW FRIEND: Kobbie Mainoo beams as Man Utd star meets Palmer and Usain Bolt at GQ Men of the Year event

At GQ Men of the Year, the England and Manchester United midfielder was at his best as a super villain. The two-piece was made of high-shine black leather and included wide-leg pants and a shirt-jacket top.

Mainoo accessorized the shirt with a white vest and a pair of the brand’s recognizable intrecciato leather shoes, continuing Hollywood’s ongoing struggle against the conventional shirt.

Naturally, wearing a single color from head to toe increases the likelihood that your ensemble will appear out of place. By employing texture to keep viewers interested, Mainoo deftly avoided this danger. The subtle sheen of the leather and the woven pattern of his shoes give the illusion a polished, clean look, much like his passing ability.

Cole Palmer, a 19-year-old England teammate, is wearing Burberry, which is frequently cold, as they celebrate. The two honor this year’s outstanding list of honorees in London’s Roof Gardens alongside Jude Law, Nicole Kidman, and Central Cee—all of whom are Men of the Year cover stars.
