The latest picture shoot for the upcoming Adidas x Gucci collection features Adidas celebrities Paul Pogba, Serge Gnabry, Jude Bellingham, and David Alaba.
The partnership between the world’s largest sporting and high fashion labels was initially announced to the public in September of last year, and it will go on sale on June 7. The extensive selection of clothing is influenced by Gucci’s opulent craftsmanship and Adidas’ athletic tradition. The end effect is a vibrant, stylish ensemble that pays homage to the fashion of the 1970s.
The entire line has the Gucci monogram and the brand’s iconic red-and-green stripes. Bell bottoms, bucket caps, knit polo shirts, and the Adidas Gazelle in a variety of colors are just a few of the clothing items in the collection.
Even though many of their images were previously released to the public, Adidas has selected a few of its best football players for its latest ads. Just as Lionel Messi or Mo Salah undoubtedly would have been if status in the football world had been the primary criterion for selection, Pogba, Alaba, Bellingham, and Gnabry were reportedly viewed as the most fashionable, marketable, or glamorous players for such a season. I hope his exclusion won’t be seen as just another act of disrespect by Jesse Lingard.
How do you feel about Adidas’ season-long choices? Which member of the Adidas team would you have picked? Kindly leave a remark there.
