Jude Bellingham could be banned for 12 MATCHES after rude comments towards referee as Real Madrid star apologises to team-mates😱😱

Jude Bellingham was given a red card against Osasuna on Saturday for his X-rated tirade towards the referee, which might result in him missing 12 games.

Referee Jose Luis Munuera Montero sent out England star Bellingham for using profane and disrespectful language 39 minutes into Madrid’s 1-1 draw against Osasuna.

The referee accused the former Birmingham City wonderkid of saying, “F*** you,” but Bellingham insisted he had not been abusive.

According to Bellingham, he had yelled, “f*** off,” but he addressed it to himself out of annoyance rather than the referee.

After the game, Carlo Ancelotti, the manager of Real Madrid, added: “I believe the referee did not comprehend Jude Bellingham’s English.” He did not say “f*** you” but rather “f*** off”… It’s completely different.

Whether Madrid will file an appeal to have Bellingham’s red card reversed is still up in the air.

Otherwise, the 21-year-old might have to watch his teammates for 12 games.

Any player found guilty of “insulting, offending, or addressing the main referee, assistants, fourth official, directors, or sports authorities in offensive terms or attitudes” faces a four- to 12-match suspension under the Spanish FA’s disciplinary code.

Bellingham will miss Madrid’s La Liga matches against Girona, Betis, and Rayo Vallecano in addition to the first leg of their Copa del Rey semi-final matchup with Real Sociedad if that ban is implemented.

Bellingham will miss the most of the rest of the season if it is extended to the full 12 games.

Bellingham wrote, “enough said,” making it obvious that he did not anticipate being sidelined for an extended period of time.

I just wanted to thank the fans for their understanding and support and to apologize once more for putting my teammates in such a difficult situation.

“See you at home on Wednesday.”

Speaking to the media following Saturday’s game, Bellingham also defended himself.

“It’s obvious that there was a mistake and a miscommunication,” he told reporters. Although I have a vivid memory of the incident, I have also watched the video, and it differs from the narrative.

“Joder” is a phrase that was used, but I don’t want to get into too much detail about what was stated.

Since it is a significant piece of evidence, I hope the study of the footage can demonstrate that it differs from the report and that the federation will continue to take it into account.

“Obviously, we cannot alter the outcome, but I believe that things will change in the future.”

“There was no insult,” he added. The video shows it plainly. I have vivid memories of the experience. It was a statement I made to myself rather than the referee.

However, there was clearly a misinterpretation of what he thought I had said to him. In no way was it an insult.
