A fresh video of Antony’s endearing conversation with a disabled fan has surfaced, further cementing his place in Real Betis supporters’ hearts.

The winger has been a huge hit at Betis since joining the Spanish team on a five-month loan until the end of the season.

Due to his outstanding performances, he has won three Player of the Match accolades and scored three goals in his first four games.

Antony’s recent success stands in sharp contrast to his dismal tenure in Manchester after joining from Ajax in 2022 for £85 million.

The Brazilian was spotted getting out of his car this week to take pictures with supporters, suggesting that he has taken to the Betis supporters as much as they have.

A disabled fan moved in to give him a kiss as he posed for a photo. The 24-year-old, who may have been taken aback, complied and kissed her forehead several times.

‘I’ve had a great time in Manchester too, I won two titles and I’m very grateful,’ he told Spanish outlet AS.

‘But when I say that I’ve found myself here, I’m happy, the people are like us in Brazil. The sun helps a lot.

‘I’m very happy here. I wake up every day with a smile and that’s very important.

‘I have a lot of friends who played here and they left me very calm so that I could sign here. I was sure in my heart that coming here was the best decision for me. I hope to continue like this.’

He told Spanish publication AS, “I’ve had a great time in Manchester too. I won two titles, and I’m very grateful.”

However, I’m content when I claim that I’ve found myself here because the people here are similar to those in Brazil. The sun is really beneficial.

Here, I’m really content. The fact that I always wake up smiling is crucial.

Many of my buddies played here, and they left me feeling quite at ease so that I could sign. In my heart, I knew that coming here was the right choice for me. I intend to keep doing this.

Betis has committed to paying at least 84% of his salary plus bonuses, or more than £100,000 per week, as part of their loan arrangement with United.

However, United will now try to recover some of the money they spent on signing Antony in 2022, while Betis has already stated that they are open to keeping him on a permanent contract.
