Trent Alexander-Arnold, a Liverpool star, has officially left the nest after spending £2.6 million on a home.
Despite joining the Premier League three years ago, the England defender has long lived at home with his mother and father.
However, the 20-year-old has since moved to a gorgeous five-bedroom mansion in Hale, Cheshire. The star’s new neighbours include Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba. He bought the house in March with a mortgage from Queen’s Bank Coutts.
Trent, who has over 50 appearances for Liverpool and five England caps, grew up near the club’s training grounds and joined when he was six years old.
In December 2016, he made his Premier League debut, although he stayed at home with his parents and brothers.
“It’s just a really close family,” he explained last year. They are against my departure because I believe that many young athletes leave too soon.
“They start earning decent money, and you think you can handle things, and then I think things start to go wrong.”
“I think my mother and family want to keep a close eye on me, don’t want things getting into my head, so I think I’ll be stuck here for the time being, until we all reach a general agreement that I have enough to move out.”
“The people I surround myself with, my family and friends, allow me to keep my feet firmly on the ground and not get too big-headed.”
