Arsenal star Kai Havertz has been seen in a knee brace as he recovers from a hamstring injury that abruptly ended his season last month. The 25-year-old sustained the injury during a pressing drill while the team was on a mid-season break in Dubai on February 12. Recently, he was spotted with his friend Senyo, who operates a male grooming business and barber shop in Portobello Road, west London.
In the photo, Havertz is using crutches and wearing the knee brace fitted after his surgery. Senyo is known for his stylish haircuts, having previously trimmed the likes of Mason Mount and Enzo Fernandez. He charges £65 for a haircut and offers a call-out service for £250 for clients who prefer home visits.
Following his surgery, Havertz took to social media to share his thoughts, stating, “The last few days have been tough to process both physically and mentally. But yesterday was a good day. A successful op. Thanks for all the messages of support over the last few days; it’s really helped. I’m now focused on my journey to full fitness and giving all the support I can to the team in the background.”
His injury has been a significant setback for Arsenal’s title aspirations, especially with key players like Gabriel Jesus, Bukayo Saka, and Gabriel Martinelli also sidelined. The team has struggled to find the back of the net, failing to score in consecutive Premier League matches against West Ham and Nottingham Forest. This has left them 13 points behind league leaders Liverpool with only 11 games remaining.
Arsenal’s next match is on Tuesday, when they travel to the Netherlands to face PSV Eindhoven in the first leg of their Champions League round of 16 tie. Following that, they will visit Old Trafford to take on Manchester United on Sunday, March 9.
