Salah met with members of Egypt’s national team in Cairo on Friday to discuss the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Malawi. He visited his family before joining his teammates for AFCON preparations.
Mohamed Salah has scored 49 goals for Egypt’s national team in 87 appearances.
Egypt currently sits at the bottom of Group D after two matches in the AFCON qualifiers and needs to win against Malawi in a two-legged playoff to improve their chances of qualifying for the tournament in Ivory Coast next year.
