Alejandro Garnacho, a winger for Manchester United, is making sure the game is aware of Nike’s comeback with the Nike Mercurial Vapor 1.

As the streets eagerly await the return of Nike’s most iconic boot, Garnacho was photographed by photographer Konrad Borzy wearing Nike Mercurial Vapor 1 RGN SEs, which retail for £254.99, ahead of United’s Europa League knockout matchup with Real Sociedad. The photo sparked online discussion.

The brand claims that the Vapor 1, which was first worn by Cristiano Ronaldo when he made his professional debut at the age of 17, has been refreshed with the colors the Portuguese superstar wore on that day, as well as a thin synthetic upper and Air Zoom cushioning.

The first player to join Garnacho in celebrating his first United goal against Real Sociedad was Ronaldo, who served as a major motivation in the Argentine’s ascent to the top of the football league.
