Victor Lindelof, a defender for Manchester United, has displayed some striking new tattoos on social media.
Lindelof has put more pieces to his lower back area because, like many other United squad players, he is anxious to express himself through body art.
The design includes a picture of a child next to what seems to be a tribute to Vasteras, Sweden, where he was born.
Andy Blanco, a fellow countryman and tattoo artist, created his latest addition to the Sweden international’s collection of ink images.
Having previously inked Victor’s backpiece in June of last year, more information will soon be revealed on Instagram, where the two are hinting at a partnership with the account “Footballer Fits.”
With the remark, “Ink Sessions drops today,” the United defender shared a video of the work on Instagram earlier today. Watch this space for more.
The United defender explained, “If you look at my tattoos, obviously the first one I got, I have four birds, as I am one of four brothers, so that represents my brothers.”
Since all of our names are Greek and come from Greece, this one has a Greek theme. It serves as a guardian and a representation of my mother watching over and protecting us because I have both my mother and Athena here.
“I put a little text here for family because family is very important to me, and we just kept going with the Greek theme throughout the sleeve.”
