Ruben Amorim heaped praise on Rasmus Hojlund after the shy striker ended his goal drought with a neat strike against Leicester😘

After Rasmus Hojlund of Manchester United overcame his long goal drought in Sunday night’s victory over Leicester, Ruben Amorim paid respect to the striker.

It was the high point of United’s third strong showing in a week, and Amorim’s sole regret is that the international break will now halt his team’s momentum.

“It’s really important for Rasmus,” Amorim stated. He’s fighting for every ball, supporting the squad, and acting morally. I believe he earned it more than anyone else since he scored a really nice goal.

The goal was challenging, and he had trouble controlling his right foot. We have confidence, therefore it’s unfortunate that we halt for the national teams.

Other goals for United came from Bruno Fernandes, who scored his sixth goal in a week and provided two assists, and Alejandro Garnacho, who scored for the first time in 25 games.
