When Marcus Rashford teams up with Burberry, he looks like a real superhero.
The England striker modeled the cape for the fashion business, which agreed to donate money to London-based youth organizations that provide meals.
The upscale clothing brand is giving money to two youth centers that Rashford, 22, frequented as a child: Norbrook Youth Club and Woodhouse Park Lifestyle Centre.
Additionally, 15 youth centers in London will get funding from Burberry thanks to a partnership with London Youth, which supports more than 600 community youth organizations in the city.
While Norbrook will be enhancing their outside area, London Youth will use the funds for meals and assistance with schoolwork.
Alongside the news of the England striker’s collaboration with Burberry, a heartfelt letter the player addressed to his 10-year-old self was released.
When you fall, as you will, friends and neighbors will always be there to catch you, he remarked.
“They will capture you without passing judgment or making comments, so there’s no need to be embarrassed. No inquiries were made.
“Embrace the warmth of people around you and know that you will eventually have the opportunity to give back to them.
“You will eventually have a voice that speaks for many, even if you are a young boy who doesn’t say much.”
