After “discreetly” listing his house for sale, Manchester United winger Alejandro Garnacho has given the clearest indication yet that he is considering quitting Old Trafford.
The seven-bedroom home in Bowdon, Greater Manchester, cost £3.804 million to the Argentine winger in April of last year.
However, the 20-year-old has now requested that real estate brokers list it for £3.85 million, which is only £45,000 more than what he paid for it.
By putting only one image online and stating that the house is “exclusively and discreetly marketed,” the agent seems to have been told to try to keep the sale attempt covert.
However, an astute fan noticed the item, which went public on March 28, and is concerned that it indicates Garnacho is getting ready to depart Old Trafford and has no intention of settling in Manchester.
Garnacho, who made his first team debut in 2022 after joining United’s academy in 2020 from Spanish team Atletico Madrid, resides at the property with his partner Eva and their one-year-old son Enzo.
“It is not uncommon for a football player to list their home for sale,” the fan stated. However, trying to sell a property less than a year after purchasing it and for only £45,000 more than he paid for it is uncommon.
“For United supporters who enjoy him as a player, the fact that he has requested that it be listed discreetly is concerning because it appears that he is constantly changing.”
Garnacho has scored four goals in 29 Premier League games for United so far this season.
This season, frustrating performances like those against Nottingham Forest have grown more frequent, even though his directness on the field is frequently a plus.
Due to the club’s dire financial circumstances, he has been linked to leaving Old Trafford because any sale would be considered “pure profit” because he is considered an academy product.
Chelsea and Napoli have expressed interest in him, and he would fetch a sum of about £50 million.

We reported in February how, after seeing his dogs running uncontrolled close to his house, Garnacho gave mother Leah Smith and her children a behind-the-scenes look to Manchester United’s training facility.
When Leah, 26, noticed the two mutts on the loose near Garnacho’s mansion, she was driving home from a shopping excursion.
After realizing the canines were Garnacho’s, she brought them to United’s Carrington training facility before bringing them back to his house.
Garnacho called Leah the next day to thank her for bringing the dogs back.
On January 16, he then gave Leah, Eliza, and her seven-year-old brother Jenson tickets to United’s 3-1 victory against Southampton in the player’s family section at Old Trafford for the Premier League match.
According to a person close to the footballer, Garnacho was attempting to sell the house because he wanted to acquire a smaller house because some of his family members who had previously lived with him had moved back to Spain.
