Kobbie Mainoo, a young player for Manchester United, celebrated his 19th birthday on Friday while having an incredible season with the Red Devils.
This season, the gifted midfielder has established himself as a mainstay in the starting lineup and won over both supporters and commentators with his impressive performances.

Although Mainoo was born in England, his mother and father are originally from Ghana, a country in West Africa.
In 2021, he even traveled to Ghana to see his extended family.
Mainoo chose to play for England internationally despite his ties to Ghana, and he made his Three Lions debut in March in friendlies against Brazil and Belgium. He started in the draw with Belgium after coming off the bench against Brazil.

In response to a question concerning his choice to represent England, Mainoo said he is proud of his Ghanaian ancestry but that he is having fun with the English national team.
He declared, “I’m proud of my Ghanaian heritage, as both my parents and my family are from there.” “But I’m enjoying it so far, and being in England as well is an incredible opportunity.”
Mainoo has shown himself to be a great asset for Manchester United on the field. He has helped the team’s offense in addition to his outstanding defensive abilities.
